Did you know that you can make your own toothpaste with just a few simple ingredients you already have in the kitchen?
Coconut Oil is antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antifungal. Various studies have shown that it destroys bacteria which causes tooth decay.
On the other hand, Baking Soda, which isn’t anymore a revelation for teeth health, has mild abrasive effect which assists in whitening teeth, and restoring pH balance.
Ingredients To Watch Out For In Toothpaste
All commercial toothpaste contain a series of toxic ingredients, such as: titanium dioxide, FD&C Blue Dye, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium fluoride etc. Unfortunately the label “All natural” or others that lead towards the naturalness idea may be false as on the ingredients list you may still find the harmful ones. These chemicals affects both the tooth enamel but also other functions of your orgnanism. So pay close attention to what you buy. Also be aware of the glycerin inhibitory effect upon teeth reminalization! It is usually in fluoride-free toothpaste.
